In Rome’s Ostiense district, a minimalist kitchen defined by anthracite tones finds its material counterpart in a floor inspired by one of the great traditions of Italian design. The terrazzo tiles reinterpret Carlo Scarpa’s language through a composition of white Carrara marble inserts set within a white terrazzo background, creating a surface that is both richly detailed and remarkably balanced. Natural light reflects off the marble fragments, interacting with the glossy cabinetry and contemporary finishes to create a dialogue between memory and innovation. More than a functional surface, the floor is a deliberate design choice—one that gives identity to the space while quietly supporting everyday life.
