Grandinetti traces its roots back to the early decades of the 20th century, in the San Severino Marche area — a region rich in raw materials and traditions linked to stone craftsmanship. The company was born from the merging of various artisanal and manufacturing realities that, over time, came together to form a single enterprise capable of embracing change while remaining true to production excellence.

1934

Nello Grandinetti took over the business and renamed it SIM (Società Industria Marmette). Under his leadership, the company consolidated its identity and strengthened its expertise in the production of terrazzo floors and cement surfaces. The second generation entered with Oliviero Grandinetti, whose life tragically ended in 1958 while rescuing his workers — an act of dedication for which the town of San Severino Marche honored him by naming a square after him.

1981

Through a corporate spin-off in continuity with SIM, Grandinetti Srl was founded, with Paolo Grandinetti as its first owner, still active in the company today. With him began the transition towards a modern industrial enterprise, capable of innovating without losing its artisanal spirit.

The fourth generation — Valentino Grandinetti and Tristano-Valentino Grandinetti — continues this story, preserving the family heritage while looking toward the future. For over a century, Grandinetti has remained faithful to its principles: handcrafted workmanship, carefully selected materials, attention to detail, and an aesthetic that blends tradition with modernity. Every surface tells this story of craftsmanship, evolution, and tangible elegance.
