Bar Turrisi

Tipology: bar
Where: Taormina, Italy

In the heart of the Sicilian village of Castelmola, Bar Turrisi is renowned for its bold and symbolic décor, inspired by Greek mythology and the cult of Priapus, the god of fertility. For this project, we crafted custom-decorated cement tiles featuring stylized phallic motifs that harmonize with the venue’s unique aesthetic. The surfaces, spread across multiple levels, guide visitors through a sensory experience that blends tradition, irony, and Sicilian craftsmanship. Every detail, from the tiles to the decorations, contributes to an environment that celebrates the vitality and history of the place.
