The renovation of Casa GF places material sustainability at its core, both economically and environmentally. A significant portion of the original marble flooring was preserved, maintaining its historic value, and integrated with terrazzo in two distinct color tones, carefully selected to complement rather than replicate the existing surfaces. Old and new coexist in balance: the terrazzo introduces a subtle chromatic rhythm that enhances natural light and articulates the depth of the interior. The floor becomes a unifying element of the project, reinforcing the spatial continuity between entrance and living areas while contributing to a bright, well-proportioned, and coherent environment.
