Erosion: the mark left by time

The new cement tile collection by Grandinetti and ISAD explores the transformation of matter through surfaces, colours and geometries.

Erosion begins with the observation of a slow process: landscapes transformed by the elements. This idea takes shape in a collection of cement tiles that translates traces, layers and variations into a contemporary visual language. Here, irregularity is not an imperfection to conceal, but an integral part of the design.
The collection is the result of a collaboration between ISAD and Grandinetti, bringing design research into dialogue with manufacturing expertise. Its surfaces, colours and geometries evoke matter shaped by time, giving the collection a distinctive visual identity.
First presented at EDIT Napoli 2026, Erosion is designed to bring a distinctive, dynamic material presence to interior spaces.
